Salvage a rusted EzGo Txt
I have a 48v E-Z-Go that I had been working on upgrading. I had the seats professionally done and brought some nice wheels. But to my surprise as I was putting on the wheels I've noticed my frame was completely rusted. I read other post where you can probably get frames welded but I have limited access to anyone that I know that can weld.
So I am trying to decide to get a club car which has an aluminum frame since this cart will be used at the beach. Or I found a very nice EzGo RXV. If I decide to go with this cart will the seats from the TXT fit the RXV? I also have another E-Z-Go cart that has 36 volt system. It is it worth swapping the 48 volt system in my 36 volt cart or do I have to buy any other kits or controllers,? Any helpful advice is appreciated. |

Re: Salvage a rusted EzGo Txt
I have had a couple ezgo’s that have rusted really badly (Completely through the frame and floorboards near driver and passenger sideS. I had a welder that had repaired numerous ezgos and he charged $200 to weld in gussets and reinforce frame, and patch the rot. I would look at repairing what you have
