1995 Club Car Gas Wiring
Hi there,
Recently purchased a non-running 1995 club car DS. I got it home and replaced the battery. When I pushed down on the pedal, the cart won't run. I replaced the solenoid after testing basis the instructions found in the service manual I was able to locate thanks to this page. I also found two micro switches bad and replaced those. Now I need some help, everytime I attempt to hook up the battery it blows the 10 Amp fuse. I have tested both positive and ground wires for continuity, all grounds are clean and tight, no broken wires, etc. Any thoughts on where to start next? The only thing I haven't replaced is the key switch but am thinking that might be causing the issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated! |

Re: 1995 Club Car Gas Wiring
Did this only start happening after you replaced the micro-switches? You may have one mis-wired. Also make sure wiring on your solenoid matches the diagram. Make sure no wire terminals are touching other terminals or any other metal surfaces.
Very possible the key switch has a terminal or wire end touching the metal dash frame. Easy to pull that out and check for any wire damage. |
