Where to get 12v from my 36v cart
I swear I tried to do a search before I posted this....
I am putting a radio in my 01 ez go. I was wondering if I could use the batteries I have in there now somehow? If so How? I have the room to put another 12 volt battery in my itself but was trying to save the 100.00 Bucks... Thanks in advance... Joey |

Before you hook anything up get a meter so you can check and make sure you have 12V before you hook the wires to it

Re: Where to get 12v from my 36v cart
Just use the neg of one battery and the pos of the next batt in series, you will then have 12v, don't go past two batts or you will get 18,24 you get the idea. You can install another separate 12v batt on the drivers side or, get a voltage reducer to pull from the pack. In the case where you are trying to save pennies go with the first option. Hope this helps.
