Default Battery post cleaning

What is the best thing to use to clean battery terminals if they have a little corrosion build up on them? I read before that there is a spray that you can use to keep them clean but I cant find the thread it was in. Can anyone point me in the right direction. Thanks.

I use baking soda and water to clean the terminals. Use a wire brush to get hard caked on off.

and then cover them with battery protectant from any auto parts store. I took G-mans advice and sprayed into the top from the can and brushed it on. Covers better and a much cleaner job.

Battery cleaner. Spray it all over. It comes out yellow then turns pink where there is acid. Lightly spray off with water and dry. Your batteries/terminals look brand new.

That is exactly what I use. It works great. Both items are about $6-$7 a can. Make sure you hold the can upside down and spray until only propellant comes out. It clears the nozzle to prevent clogging. Also the stuff is really smelly, so apply it somewhere where it's ventilated. Just my 0.02.

my 2 cents is cover your controller with a plastic bag before you spray anything. It may be the best 25 cents you ever spend

Yeah I guess ya never know. That stuff does work great though. I actually just did mine tonight. My buddies Ford had a dead battery and I had to jump him off my acc. battery and I noticed how dirty the pack had got. It only takes 5 min to do and is so fresh and so clean

ps. (scotty) I took it to the post office last week. Its in a 2 ft tube. It has got to come tomorrow. I figured you woulda had it today
