bucking bronco
hey guys
I have an 2 cylinder 89 ez-go gas cart and she runs great at full speed,but on acceleration,she bucks .....trying to go slow is impossible...changed fuel,fuel filter.and plugs....was tempted to take carb off and clean it...but figured i ask some pros before i take the cart out of service.. thanks for any advice.....pete |

the first thing I'd look at is the throttle cable adjustment, it's common for them to slip a bit and cause that problem - you want to adjust it so that as you press the pedal, the solenoid *just* clicks to turn over the motor before the carb actually starts to open (if you're out of adjustment, chances are your carb is opening prior to the starter kicking in, so in effect you are starting off at 20, 30, or more percentage of throttle, which will give you one H*** of a ride, lol)
