Re: G2 with spark issues need help
I'm not sure where it is on a G2, but the diagrams show that it is somewhere under the gas pedal area. The switch may be missing. Do you see two wires in that area that are not connected? One should be brown, the other should be red/white.

Re: G2 with spark issues need help
Hold the gas peddle any ways. There's a switch underneath it. If that is activated you won't get spark by jumping the solinoid.

Re: G2 with spark issues need help
Ya that should work too. I installed a toggle inline with those wires so in winter I can put my cart in neutral and flip the switch to let it warm up.

Re: G2 with spark issues need help
i have tried switching everything except for the pedal switch but i have jumped the wires so thats out of the question i think theres a broken wire so i took the whole motor out and im gonna go through all the wires i found a couple poor connections but nothing that would make it not run

Re: G2 with spark issues need help
Did you check the fuses? You should have 12volts on the brown wire when the key is turned on. When you press the pedal, the stop switch closes and passes 12volts to the red/white wire. That gives power to the solenoid, and the ignition.
