To bore cylinders or not
I am in the process of rebuilding my 295cc engine after I let the oil run too low and a rod seized to the crankshaft. I know....dumb thing to do!!! The cylinders do not have any gouges or marking on them at all.
My dilemma is do i get the .25 mm over sized rings and piston and bore out the cylinders or buy new rings and hone the cylinders and use existing pistons? |

Re: To bore cylinders or not
If the cylinders are good I would go with the hone, cheaper
and room for a bore if you ever have trouble again. |
