Tires for economy lift g9
The economy lift kit I installed on my g9 says it should accommodate 20" tires, has anyone had lock running 22" in the rear? It looks like there should be excess room but wanted to check first.

I had to cut an inch or so off the black side panels because they were rubbing a little bit

Re: Tires for economy lift g9
The 22" can rub in the front, but some minor tweaking will eliminate most issues. I run 22 all the way around & wouldnt go smaller for the minor rubbing issues.

Re: Tires for economy lift g9
22 fit rear, you have to cut the end of the rocker off. May have to slit the inner well and you can put holes in it and zip tie it back from the tire to clear, that way it still protects inside of cart. Front some 20 lifts don't move the arms ahead, then the tires hit the frame tube under the floor.

Tires for economy lift g9
Got the tires on and it looks like the clearance issue should be minor. I have a small rub in the rear wheel well where it "bulges out" for the shock..... And it's extremely close but on the front tire near the hub. I didn't have to trim any black plastic (yet), but the tires aren't inflated to proper specs yet either.

You shouldn't have to cut anything for ur tires to fit, if the front tire it rubbing usually that happens when something is bent, the plastic piece on the back is an easy fix though
