Default New 2010 G29 build

So last year I built up a 2001 ezgo. I like the Yamahas I see cruising around my campground so I just picked up a 2010 G29. I added a 6" rhox a arm lift, 23 inch tires, led light kit and rear seat. I plastidipped it silver. Looks great can't wait to try it out. I also have a Madjax controller and OTF control to add as soon as in get my cables made up and get a solenoid.

I like the silver, and the green too...problem is the sun just kills the color/gloss after a while, unless you store it under cover

Ain't no gloss on this! I keep all my stuff inside anyway. The silver is kind of a matte finish since it's plasti dip which is why I like it. Not sure how durable it will be but if not I'll peel it off and start over. I've already scuffed it with my foot but it hasn't really cured. I have it on my truck wheels and it's holding up very well. They sell a product that is something of a detailer for it. Supposed to make it feel less rubbery and enhance the color. I suspect it's something like armor all. I ordered a bottle of it to try. Only problem is that you have to thoroughly remove it before touch ups. They say to wash it twice then use an alcohol mixture to remove it before you can respray more dip over it.

I took the front off because it was easier than taping off everything that I didn't want to get over spray on, like the new suspension. It was only about a dozen fasteners to remove it. The rear I left on.

Hmm I'm contemplating buying a Yamaha instead of an ezgo RXV. One of the things I liked about it was how easy the body was to get off. I guess since I'll be putting on a rear seat I should just go buy the cheaper Yamaha and suck up the saved money and spend more time taking body off.

Did you rattle can the dip? If so how many coats?
