The shifters are expensive because of the machining time, internal components and the aluminum and stainless. I have had requests for a cheaper version, but haven't come up with any ideas that would look good or be as durable. Sorry...

I know Fipper has one, and it works great. I have seen it in person and it looks like a high quality product, I would by one if I thought I needed it.
