Model and ID help
Hey folks, new to the golf cart game and have a question.
I know I have a 1991 Elec EZGO Marathon, but I don't understand these other names or numbers that I run across when doing a search. 1989-1993 Electric: X440/444 (FREEDOM), X444F (SPIRIT), X-444J, XI-300/500, XT-300/500, PCX4X,PCX4I,PC4XJ (LIBERTY) I have no idea what the X codes are referring to. thanks |

Re: Model and ID help
x444 means it is a 4 wheel cart, v.s a three wheel one. if you have what looks like bed coils in the center between the batts, you have a resistor cart. check out the wiring diagrams at the top of this forum. pretty clean cart also.
in the wiring sticky above, go to the one that has a ink to bennetts carts. find the manual for 89-91 marathon parts there. it is #24566. good diagrams in there. |

Re: Model and ID help
thanks madoc1, I'll take some better pics next week of the inside. It in great shape from what I've seen out there, and I think I paid a good price as well. Now the fun begins
