I second this and add "ALL" new batteries. Or suffer the loss of the new ones.

After getting new batteries, be sure to break them in right to obtain maximum storage capacity.

While on the site, read everything in top left menu with the word "Battery" in the title. Lots of good info.

Those batteries are bad, all of them. replacing only two will cause uneven charging and shorten battery life even more.

Be sure to charge new batteries fully prior to use, even if dealer says they are charged.

Also be sure to break them in properly to get maximum storage capacity.

Before you buy all new batteries, think about upgrading to 48v. I wish I new that when I started and the first thing I did was buy all new batteries for 36v only to change to 48v shortly after.

The goal is to sell this cart when I find a reasonably priced 6 seater so I'm doing the minimal upgrades needed to get it looking good and moving.

Thanks for all the help. New batteries and clocked the cart at 16mph. Now to break in the batteries properly and next to wire the lights etc, which the previous owner left looking like a bird's nest.
