resistor to controller
hey guys i want to convert from a resistor to a controller....iv never done any thing like this. sooo is it hard? 1-10....how much would it cost? and im doing this for more torque and i want to be a 48v instead of 36

Since you say 'I've never done anything like this before' I suggest you buy a bolt in, plug and play kit.
It still does take some level of mechanical ability and basic understanding of electrical + and - workings.... to be able to succeed. I have seen some accountants breeze thru it and then others struggle with it because they do not grasp the fact that a complete circuit requires a + and a -. |

For an Ezgo you need the conversion hardware kit and the component pkg and cable set is all you need except batteries and a way to charge them.

I don't know if you need batteries.
You need 48 volts worth of batteries and a way to charge them. You can use 6/8 volt batteries or 8/6 volt batteries. You can use a 48v charger or you can use a 36v and a 12v charger or you can use 2 24v chargers. There are options. |
