36v ccds
I am looking to speed up a 36V CCDS Resistor cart. Is there just a motor upgrade available, or would it require a full blown conversion?
Thx in advance! |

Re: 36v ccds
You will have to do a solid-state conversion to speed this cart up. A high speed motor or a high-speed gear change or just taller tires will increase speed. The problem you're going to run into is that all of these options will draw more amperage to operate. The increased draw will increase heat in some components. The V-glide is usually the first thing to meltdown.
A solid-state conversion will allow you to run the car on 48 V. This increase in voltage will result in 33% more speed and torque from the stock motor. |
