Default 2006 Club Cart DS Charging Problem

Newbie here, but I recently redid a club cart 48 DS based primarily on the advice and suggestions I saw on the forum. I’m having a problem with my cart that I thought you might be able to help. Recently my cart stopped taking a charge from the original charger. I had been looking for an excuse to replace that charger with one that would float charge, and so I got a new Schauer Golf Cart Battery Charger. The new charger also won’t charge.

In between giving up on the old charger and buying the new one, I basically ran the cart all the way down till the meter was blinking alternating yellow and red. I have a “spot on power” state of charge meter and have had the cart hooked up to a trickle charger for a week thinking that perhaps the reason that the batteries wouldn’t take a charge was because they had been drained too low. The meter still read the same alternating red to orange. The cart has power, although I can’t tell how much due to the meter, and it still will not take a charge from the Schauer. I have no idea where to start to try to troubleshoot this problem. Do any of you have any suggestions that might be able to help. Thank you in advance.

x2. Also, although it is not likely that it failed, but I would go into the stickes and try the OBC reset and try to charge it again
