Will you have less or more torque with 8-1 vice 12-1 gears.

Less torque with 8:1 gears, but higher speed.

Thanks Gorno . I have 8-1 in know and have been toying going back to stock, it moves to 35 with a 650 alltrax. 30 would be fine and may do that, don't want to lose too much speed. think i will start another thread on this dont want to hijack here.

What if I put a high torque motor in and changed my gear to 8-1 would I get the best of both worlds? Or would it just be a wash and a waste of time.
