I was holding my tongue (but no poles)...30 mph in my Yami gasser, stock motor governor still works. Curtis controller 2five can do 32 stock, with programming. I've built faster electrics (40 easy with rxv gear and programing change), but with rear brakes only, 30 is fast enough.

35.2mph with my sparky, 500 amp alltrax, 2 gauge wires, stock 36 volt motor on 48v, 8:1 rear end on 23s with 10" rims and 4 wheel discs. And 34.3mph with my gasser, modified clutch, 23s on 10s with gov reset. Now I get 46MPH with my 1980 Sebring Comutta Car!!
