Default Buying used parts

In Marshreds thread on rebuilding an MCOR " a great thread" he mentions that he was getting a used MCOR. I have looked around for used parts as I need an MCOR3 and new ones seem to be $150 to $250. A lot of change for a guy that is supposed to be retired. Any help would be great.

P.S
I have been on several forums for different things. They dont come any better than "Buggiesgonewild" THANKS

If you've got a car with an MCOR3 on it why are you paying to fix it? These cars should all still be under warranty. And, why are you looking for an MCOR3? The MCOR4 is a much better option. The costs you mentioned are ridiculous. Where are you looking?

Thanks for all the help.
My cart is a 2009 Pres. 2011 batteries. Was a southern Calif. course cart. Bought it last year. Apparently somebody has changed the entire throttle assembly because the mco3 that was on it fits perfectly. That said I realized I got hung up on that being the problem and it may not be.
It dawned on me that the reverse buzzer does not even buzz. Headlights work but nothing else. Have about 50 volts across bats. Starting to look at fuses (those I can find).
For pricing I looked at the sponsor here, amazon and a local dealer.
The cart was hesitating when you pushed the throttle then would run fine then after sitting for 3 weeks I took it out made it about 100 yards and nothing.
