Re: Need help with 98 ez go
If you can't get the broken bolt out, then take it to a shop and have them do it. It will cost you around 4 or 5 hundred dollars for a used rear if you can find one. And the input shaft is not easy to find
Here is one for sale if he still has it http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/golf-...ml#post1115193 |

Re: Need help with 98 ez go
what about a torch heat it up good and maybe use a bigger drill bit and extractor the bigger the bit the more material removed and the more whats left of the bolt can flex. keep going dont give up you can do it. try soaking the end of it after you drill it out soak it in pb blaster for a day then heat it and try the extractor again. what ever you do dont break the extractor off in the bolt!!! you cant drill them and you will have to chip it out
