So... I broke a part I shouldn't have - G9 Brake parts needed!
Hello everyone,
On my mission to convert my golf cart to gas, i had to swap the rear end. Well that's long behind us but, of course, both brakes were seized. On the right side I managed to hammer off the drum and adjust back the star wheel. Sadly, I wasn't so lucky on the left. I got the drum off it, but the star wheel wouldn't budge, so I began to take apart the brakes. End of story, I loosened the star wheel, but broke off the retaining clip. I have attached pictures. If ANYONE knows where I can buy one of these, I'd be a lifesaver. A used part is fine if anyone has one laying around, because I've checked every cart site I could for this part. The number on it is 2049-L, if that helps at all. |

All I could find was a complete backing plate assy. If you pay for the Priority mail (5.25) you can have it. PM me with shipping address ect if your interested. Then, maybe you could "pay it forward" to the member in Canada that needs the "non" adjuster side peice? Or you could "fix" this crazy world and I'd ship it to you for free!

I got this one nailed (tomorrow)... I have the adjuster arms available by themselves, from yamaha, with part numbers, for like $4 each. I will get the numbers. I hate reusing unknown ones, because they do wear out and stop adjusting.
