more 2 stroke problems
Well I've fixed the problem with my battery dying and I was driving my cart and after about 10 min of driving it just bogged down and soinded like it was choking. I stopped the cart let it sit for about 30 seconds and it moved about 2 feet and did it again so I put the old voltage regulator back on and checked again and guess what happened, it moved 2 feet and started choking again. Anyone have any ideas?

Re: more 2 stroke problems
I would check fuel delivery.
Is the fuel tank vented? |

Is the fuel pump pumping fuel to the carb?

Re: more 2 stroke problems
I'm getting ready to check that now. I was wondering I usually use 93 octane in the cart because that's what I was told to use but I got 87 last time and I change my two stroke oil that I've been you could one of these be the reason of the problem.

87 octane is fine for that motor. What oil are you running?

Re: more 2 stroke problems
I checked the fuel pump and it is sending fuel to the carburetor. could it be the carburetor? I had to check on the oil I use

Re: more 2 stroke problems
Clean the carb really well, and check the float setting.
Also, isn't there a bowl vent on that carb? If so, make sure it is open to atmosphere. |

Re: more 2 stroke problems
Did you mix the gas/oil in a can, vigorously, before dumping in? Some oils are less likely to drop out of suspension.
