1994 Marathon Front Wheel Alignment (Post-Jake's 4" Lift)
As a disclaimer, I've read many of the previous posts concerning this issue and I couldn't quite get a clear answer for my problem.
After installing a 4" lift (I'm running 20x10x7 tires) I've got a wheel base that looks like / \ as opposed to the inward \ / that other's have had issue with. I unfortunately bashed one of the threads on one of the tie rod ends so I had to order a replacement (separate issue ). What are my options here? Best I can tell I need to thread out the ends of the tie rod (on either the passenger or driver side, not sure which) a fairly decent amount to bring the wheels to square. Additionally the ends are taking a near herculean effort to thread off, which gives me concern about bending or damaging the rod. |
