DS Accelerator Pedal Removal?
Going through a nut-and-bolt teardown and rebuild of a 2004 DS. The accelerator pedal is giving me headaches. I’m about to pull out the reciprocating saw, but want to reuse this part if possible. Is it supposed to be welded as shown? Is there a trick to getting this off?

Re: DS Accelerator Pedal Removal?
You've destroyed the ball joint in the accelerator bracket & bearing assembly and the pivot rod looks very rusty. It's probably worn as well. Just cut if off and replace it. Those parts aren't that expensive and it'll save you a headache. You'll need qty 2 - 1011694 and qty 1 102026001.

Re: DS Accelerator Pedal Removal?
Thanks! Yeah, this cart’s a mess. Was flooded during Irma and given to me.
