2001 club car wheels lock up
I have a 2001 club car when you start to move forward or reverse it feels like it trys to go in the opposite direction almost like the wheels suddenly lock l am sure it is electrical and not a brake problem. Any ideas?

What type of drive system is it? Serial number?
Series or Sepex? Could be a problem in the F/R switch if it is a series. Could be a problem in a reversing contactor if you have that. Controller could be damaged and it does not know what to do when... Insure good pack voltage and load test to be sure. Cables all clean and tight but not over tight. I am sure others will have some opinions. Hang in there. |

I am with Raystar, if it is a Series it is most likely your FNR switch is bad.

Serial no. Is A9332 341161 all connections are clean, pack voltage is good, batteries load test good, hydrometer reading is 1300 on all batteries, cart runs good only bothers occasionally when you first take off in rev or forward
