Default 2015 Club Car Precedent-Electric-Rear End

I have a cart with some issues. It was taken for a joyride and came back broken. Rear end on drivers side makes a clunk every once in a while. Nothing visually on the outside looks damaged. I pulled the driver side axle out and nothing looked out of the ordinary. What could be wrong hear? I’m hoping there’s a fix instead of having to buy a whole new rear end.

My guess is the drivers side brake cable is stretched causing the brakes to be applied which is causing this rubbing noise.
