Pro fit 36v just clicking over and over
I leave my cart in the charger when not at camp. Today when I arrived it was clicking over and over, no lights on the front of the charger at all
Pro fit 36018 charger. 36v EzGo. Usually when I plug it in I hear the relay click once then it starts charging. Does the charger need a new board? |

Possible the transformer died or the circuit board in front of it. Can you post a picture of the charger?

Sure. This is what it looks like. I can swap any parts needed just not sure what part is the problem.

Re: Pro fit 36v just clicking over and over
Today I performed the following checks.
I have six 6v interstate GC2-XHD-UTL batteries. Pack voltage is 37volts, golf cart capacity meter shows 1/2. Each battery is ~6.15 to 6.2v yet my charger keeps clicking and will not work, no lights, nothing. I have to cover removed and my first thought was to replace the control board ($150) but I was looking for some help to test the transformer before I drop the money amd that’s not the problem. Can anyone help? |

With it plugged in the wires from the transformer to the board disconnected there should be around 45 volts AC on the two wires.

Ok I guess I am not sure how to do that. The input side is connected to a relay.

Re: Pro fit 36v just clicking over and over
Well yours has a relay where mine did not. Check to see if the relay is closing. Here is the manual https://www.dpipower.com/MNUL/General_Chargers.pdf
