Good batterys ,my charger wont work and neither will neighbors. How do i charge up with car battery charger?

Two at a time if they are 6 volt batteries. Disconnect all but two of them. Connect a 12 volt charger accross two 6 volt batteries wired in series. When those two are finnished move to the next two.
