95 g14 pulsing
I have a 95 g14 gas cart. The valves have been adjusted, new carb, new plug. It will run good when cold for a block or so then sputters. you can choke it and cover the air inlet and get it to creep along. I have checked all vacuum hose they are good. Seems to be getting good spark and fuel.

Re: 95 g14 pulsing
The air box has to be PERFECT. Must have all seals in place, all hold downs in place, cant be bent or allow any air in.

Re: 95 g14 pulsing
I would also like to say here I had motorcycle foam , asian k&n clone as well as a real k&n air filters on my G14. With minor carb adjustments the cart ran great.

Re: 95 g14 pulsing
Just a thought, carb gasket/broken intake manifold or a bad intake gasket? Might want to check the primary weights also.

Re: 95 g14 pulsing
I saw that, but you never know if it "new used" or "new to the cart" or like you said OEM or aftermarket
With the way he gets it to run we know it is running lean. Since the air box is apparently OK, going to the carb would be my next step. |
