Silver Standard vs Gold Standard
I looked at a cart today that was identified as a Silver Standard on serial number tag(ser #7D0201-106860). According to chart this is Lynx IQ 48V. I am also looking at 05 gold standard ds. Question is is there any limitations on lynx vs regual ds(not sure what lynx is other than camo?)? silver standard vs gold standard? Any insights would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Silver Standard vs Gold Standard
Thanks for help Steve! I found a spec sheet online of a gold standard lynx and it looks identical to regular ds specs. Speed was between 15-17, do you think that is code 4?

Re: Silver Standard vs Gold Standard
Speed code 4 would put it up around 19mph or so for a stock motor/controller in an IQ system . . . not sure what could be in the one you are considering . .

Re: Silver Standard vs Gold Standard
Spec sheet I found shows motor as shunt wound 3.2hp(constant) 10.0hp (peak). I think that is stock?? To highjack my own thread... Are you familiar w/ Bull Dog batteries? They are made in your neck of the woods in Wabash IN. I went to their website but its light on technical info. Cart has 6 8V's. Only info on them was CR-165 165@75amps. Seller paid 800+ for them last april so I hope cost=quality!

Re: Silver Standard vs Gold Standard
Tahoe, attached is shot I took of battery. I cut off bottom left where it said CR-165 but that was it. I just assumed Bull Dog based on markings, and there is a Bull dog battery co that does golf cart batteries... I need to buy one before my head explodes. Any thoughts on on Lynx cart vs after market set up?
