14" Rim differance
Is there a difference between a 14" golf cart rim and say 14" rims off a mini?
I think they both have a 4 stud 4" bolt pattern . |

you mentioned the 4 bolt of a mini..... which are 4 x 100mm depending on which type cart you are talking about, they differ. EZGO use a 4 x 4, which is technically 4 x 101.6mm some will tell you that that's close enough......and you can most likely get them on, after all we are only talking 1.6 mm and there is some slop, that's why there are TAPERED LUGS which actually seat the wheel on the hub. SO, with that in mind, you make the choice.......but if it were me.....I would put my money towards the correct sized wheels. |

Re: 14" Rim differance
U take it for what it's worth. I have built seveal carts with car rims. 17",14" whatever size and I haven't seen a set yet that want work on a golf cart. As long as they are 4x4 by 100mm.
17" miata wheels with 2" spacers to get correct look on back and front. This cart runs 35MPH and it rides like a dream. Don't remember size but they where Honda steel wheels. I built this cart for my neighbor at the beach with VW wheels. 16-17" Mustang old pony wheels. New PQ speed motor should be here by Friday I hope for it. |

Re: 14" Rim differance
so there ya go....as Andy just demonstrated, there are plenty of wheels that will and can work on a cart that were originally meant for a car.

Re: 14" Rim differance
Hmmm... I have four or five sets of 4-lug VW wheels throwing around the garage, including a set like the ones on the orange cart in the photo.
