01 DS Motor pulsing
I've had this cart for about 7 weeks. It's a series cart and has new batteries and cables. I've also replaced the leaf spring bushings. When it gets to top speed, the motor whine sounds like it's pulsing or turning on and off real fast. The cart actually bounces a bit in the front. I first thought it was a problem with the shocks but now noticing the sound of the motor. It never does it when going uphill or downhill. Kind of strange but thought I would give it a shot.
Anyone seen anything like this? |

Re: 01 DS Motor pulsing
That's a weird one...
Is it a regen cart? Is the shifter a knob or a rocker switch? |

Re: 01 DS Motor pulsing
I installed a new set of Crown 8V about a month ago, new cables as well. Batteries are charging up fine and the run time is great. This is a weird one for me, but it's the first series cart I've had and worked on. I've got two other Precedent carts as well.

Re: 01 DS Motor pulsing
Weird, My last guess would be a motor problem, but who knows.
Hopefully someone else will chime in... |

Re: 01 DS Motor pulsing
my guess ....
the motor pulsing , sounds like it is hitting max rpms allowed by controller and cutting in & out ,its not doing it on hills when the motor needs power to pull to keep you going and down hill costing . the front bounce may be a wheel unbalanced once you hear something it will bug you forever again just a guess |
