Default Re: reversing contactor?

In order to bring power to the switch, I need to run a wire from the battery pack B+ to the blue wire that goes to the key switch. Does this wire need to be a heavier gauge or does 14-16 gauge work? Also, should I put a fuse on this line, if so, what size?

Well, I never got an answer so I decided to use a 14 gauge wire and an inline fuse. I installed Scotty's switch plate, with F/R switch and his led meter and I'm almost all done with the wiring. I spent a few hours today making the high current wires. The only wires I have left to make are the four wires to the motor. I'm hoping to be done by the end of this weekend.

Sorry. Didn’t see your question. 14 gauge is fine.
