Re: 92 club car has no spark
thought about replacing rpm limiter and igniter, but i'm trying to be sure before I spend near $200.00 on parts, wondering how accurate test in manual really are. Thank for the replies. TCMJ

Re: 92 club car has no spark
take the brown wire off of rev limiter and rap tape around it and see if it helps the brown wire not being grounded will disable it if no change hook it back up

Re: 92 club car has no spark
then it's OK i would think it's the coil then... because that kill micro switch grounds the coil out so no spark and if you changed it and the fuse is good in the box no other reason for no spark then the coil and by you saying you had a weak spark makes me think that even more .

Re: 92 club car has no spark
Had the same problem. I put on a coil with the ignitor as one unit from a 1997 Club Car and now my Club Car runs SWEET! Remember to pull the wire off the old ignitor which is located just below and behind the RPM Limitor

Re: 92 club car has no spark
Thank For The Replies!
Sorry It's Been A While. Okay , This Is Where I'm At (1) Have Cart No Spark (2) Purchase Manual (3) Do Test According To Manual (4) Replace Ignition Switch (5) Cart Ran Some, Not Long (6) More Test, Replace Micro Switch In Black Box, No Spark Weak At Times (7) Test Ignitor And Rpm Limiter, According To Manual They Were Okay ( Unhook Brown Wire To Rpm Limiter As Suggested, Still No Spark (9) Test Coil According To Manual, Read High Resistance, Replaced Coil, Still No Spark. Heres What I Know, (1) Kill Circuit Is Not Grounded Out. (2) Wife Starting To Get Ugly About Money Spent And No Cart. Heres What I Don't Know (1) Can I Replace Ignitor And Not The Rpm Limiter, Maybe Leave Limiter Brown Wire Unhooked? Any Other Suggestions Would Be Appreciated. Thanks Tcmj |
