Default Faster in Reverse?

I have a 36 volt Club Car DS and the reverse gear is so much faster than forward. Has anyone else experienced this?

Typically in a 36 volt club car the Reverse is wired only for 18 volts. Only half of the batteries are used. U will see a wire on one of the middle batteries leading somewhere. Most people move that wire so that it (Reverse) sees all 36 volts and goes full seed. I think yours is simply reversed (pun intended) possibly. Forward getting only 18v and Reverse getting 36v.

Could be a F/R switch among other things too, especially if its a resistor cart.

Is this is a resistor cart?

Yep, it sounds like the F/R circuits are switched...
