Default Ground up build

Hey guys,

I just bought a beach house so now I want that special one of a kind golf cart.
I would like to know of any information to get me started. I want to build a 6 seater gas and going to use an afterbody for the look. Should I try to get an old club car and strip it down and leathen the frame or build my own frame. I have access to alot of tools so I that part should not be a problem. I will need engine and Trans. Do I build my own front end or use one from an old one. If an old golf cart is the way to go can anyone help me with that.

Thanks in advance

If you want to build it "ground up"... that's up to you...
BUT...
Club Car makes them in 4/6 and 8 seaters

then, you can add the lift, rims and tires, and the custom body to that!

It's to my understanding that used ones are either hard to find,
or beat up pretty badly, (which makes for an excellent "project" cart)

I know, that I'm one that would like to see your idea's from start to finish!

Oh... and welcome to BGW!

Thanks Lockman1 for your advice. Maybe I will try to find a rolling chassis and start there. I have to get my hands dirty some there i no other way. I will be posting more questions later. Thanks again
