I also have the wondering front end on my 98 cc. I didn't notice it until I put my 8 inch lift on. I am thinking about a stabilizer.

It is actually scary to drive it all out im afraid i will end up in the ditch!! i ordered a new heavy duty front spring today i will see if that will help out at all plus i put on the 2" extension to move the front tires forward! tired of the tires locking up on the fenders

I'm sure you've checked but, are all the bushings good? As far as the ditch goes, that gives you a chance to try out that new lift! lol

I just typed 'alignment' into the search box (top of the page) and it brought up a lot of info on the subject. May be what is causing your carts to hunt or wander....

well i found out a couple of problems 1st on my clutch my idler bearing was bad and the secoung i changed my front leaf spring to a heavy duty spring and it did get rid of a lot of side to side sway i was haveing but now the tie rods a sitting on top of the frame!!! and the ez go has so much more low end torqe i dont think the fe290 can compete with the ezgo twin also does anyone have a pic of how the drive clutch is assembled i have had mine apart for a few days and im not sure where the white nylon shim goes i think it went next to the bearing but not 100 % sure thanks!!!

I'm not sure if this'll help...
The only nylon washers I can find, are on the weights!
