1996 txt clicks but wont go

ok cable jumpered side to side of sol. key on, and press pedal, I hear the sol click, but tires dont move Up on blocks, and they free wheel if I spin by hand

Ok if I did it right I get no movement(jumpered side to side, then key on press pedal, I can here it pick, but won move. Tires will free wheel if I move by hand. ......so solenoid is OK??

sounds like either motor or controller to me you need to tell more about your cart like if it is a series or shunt system

What type of drive system is it series, pds, dcs?

Can you post any pictures of the battery bay? Where is the F&R switch?
DCS carts will have a tow/run switch under the seat, with a F/R Switch that looks like a small metal dish on the inside of the body, behind the actual lever, PDS carts will have a Tow/Run switch with button for f/r on the dash, and lastly a series cart will have a shift lever like the dcs cart down by your legs, but it will NOT have a tow/run switch, good luck,

Must be the series, as there is no tow run switch, and the F/R is by my legs.
Are there any diagrams of the wiring for the series, I see the DCS listed in the Sticky, but not series cart. Thanks for your help.

Turns out the motor had a bad brush in it and it was shorting out on the case inside the motor. Took it to a local alternator repair shop and they put a new brush in and soldered a new wire to it. Works Mint...........thankss
