Default Just Acquired an MPT What Am I In For??

Coming from the DS world..

Acquired for a reasonable price..

Fairly fresh out of service.. needs battery, & lights..

Other than that.. It's complete & just needs a little tune up love to be back in service...

SER# 2143607

Can some gurus let me know what I have from that #?

Can't wait to "restore" this unit for an easy life doing yard work at my house!

There should be a tag in the dash passenger side...share a photo. It will provide clear picture of what you have. It is atleast 2004 as that is when EZGO changed from Workhorse to MPT (Multi-Purpose Truck) check your exhaust manifold...should be integrally cast aluminum with the head...that would be what is called an MCI engine. If the exhaust manifold is cast iron bolted to the head, it is pre-MCI. The ignition and some other parts are not interchangeable. I am working on a couple of them right now.

Thanks for the tips
It is located 4 hours away currently...
My buddy picked it up today for me...
Weather permitting... I’m hoping to throw it in my enclosed trailer next weekend & bring it home for a winter tear down
