Re: frame ground
Its a 3-498E 36v-48v to 12v
has 2 wires going in (36V) 1. RED TO BATTERY + 2. YELLOW TO KEY SWITCH Two wires coming out (12v)... 3. BLACK TO BATTERY NEGATIVE (Doesn't state which negative) 4. GREEN TO LIGHTS ETC. I have the 12v coming out if I connect the ground to the 36v negative but was just wondering if that is correct. I also didn't understand what you meant about the "battery next in line in series". Just want to make sure its right before connecting. Thanks |

Re: frame ground
I removed the ground wire from frame now no head lights. The lights only have one wire going to the switch I guess the ground is the light mount which is connected to the frame, can I run wire from the light mount to the battery pack or change lights. Thank You

Re: frame ground
You should be able to identify the ground wire on the connector to your headlight. Connect a new wire to the ground wires for the two headlight and run it to B neg. This is assuming the body work the headlights are in is steel and the easy way was to ground to the steel. If the lights are in a plastic body part there will be a ground wire going to steel someplace.
