10" or 12" Wheels
Have a 2001 EZGO PDS and want to upgrade Wheels and Tires. Have a couple of questions about this change.
1. Would there be any scrubbing with 12" tire. I have a back seat and will be riding 4 people. 2. Have heard that putting 12" tires will make cart run slower. 3. Any rubbing concerns with front end components after changing to either 10" or 12". Thanks in advance for any hep, Bryan |

Re: 10" or 12" Wheels
Go with the 12". I have put several set of the ITP SS112 on neighbor's carts with the low profile tires and there are no concerns even with rear seat and stock springs.

Re: 10" or 12" Wheels
Don't know it was on cart when I bought it. It has just plain seat, not flip down for cargo and foot plate. I added grab bar. Give me info on how to tell.

Re: 10" or 12" Wheels
I thought you might have added it. I just ordered a flip seat for mine and it looks like that one. Just wondering how you liked it. But if it's not flip top, I'll have to wait on an answer. BTW... welcome to the site. You might have been here for a little while, but doesn't look like you've been very active... so again... welcome.
I would think there would be some kind of name on it, if they are fond of their product. |

Re: 10" or 12" Wheels
8", 10", 12" wheels are inconsequential, it's the tire diameter that is key.
A stock 8" tire is 8.50x8-18 (18" diameter). A 10" wheel with 205/50x10 tire is 18" diameter. A 12" wheel with 205/30x12 tire is 18" diameter. The biggest difference is the appearance and ride quality. The shorter the sidewall, the firmer the ride. |

Re: 10" or 12" Wheels
I was wondering about the 205x50x10. Thanks for clarifying that it is 18".

Re: 10" or 12" Wheels
for the 12" we run 215/35/12 or 235/30 12" tires they are 18.5" tall
also the 215/50/12 tire which is 20" tall also is good on a stock ez-go |

Re: 10" or 12" Wheels
It might be 18.5" but 18" is close enough. Biggest tire you can put on an EZGO without a lift is 20"-20.5". They also make a 205/65x10 that is 20.5".
