Use for hunting. Land has alot of hills. Im not really worried about speed I want to be able to pull hills. Right now my passenger has to get off to pull a big hill. Have a 275 amp controller. Its a series cart. Can I upgrade this or do I need a PDS cart?? If I can what do I need to upgrade?? Im new to all this...

No on the PDS car! The car you have is fine. Do you have 4 guage wires? How about your batteries: how old, what do they read? You may need to upgrade your controller.

PDS cart would probly be worse. Get some 4 gauge cables first then if thats not enough you could get a motor and controller upgrade. Good batts are a big key to it to.

No I dont have 4 gauge wires. Im looking at ordering them right now. The batteries are 07 Pacers. If I upgrade the controller how may amps to need to get?? Anything controller in particular?? I hear alot about Alltrax. Is there anything I need to look for in a controller?? I appreciate the help.

For the stock motor a 400 amp Alltrax with 4 gauge cables is good. If your planning on upgrading the motor get the biggest one you can afford. If your toting lots of gear and people then you may need a motor/controller upgrade no matter what.

You don't really need that much. A 650 Alltrax and Beast motor has stump pulling wheelie torque. With that combo you won't need any more torqe. I've seen leaf springs break with that combo.

On the stock motor, yes. That and a 48v upgrade should be plenty. If you need more, than that, move up to better motor and controller combo.

Your NEED is something no one but you can answer. If people are having to get off the cart now I don't think a cable upgrade alone will do it....I'm not too sure a controller upgrade will do it either with the stock motor. but the again I don't know the terrain so...I'd do a cable upgrade first and go from there. Your going to have to get that no matter what.
