Lift kits are dependent on height, the higher you go the better quality you need. If you're doing a full 6" lift I would recommend a Jakes Lift. If it is only a couple of inches, a home made block lift would probably work fine. |

Cool, I'm glad you brought the quality vs. height issue up.
I've been looking at the various kits on ebay and seen there are a couple of options. The basic kits seem to go up to around 4 inches and are comprised of just blocks or, 'C' shaped blocks. The Axle drop lifts are between 4 and 5 inches but, are approx. $100 more on average..... With all that said,... for my particular application, I do not plan to ever 'off-road' my cart. My lift would be purely for asthetics. I will be using it to transport my crew and I around the race track and, to tow our race car back from the return road at the track. Would ya'll recomend I spend the extra $$ for the axle kit or could I use the blocks??? Kev |
