EZ-G0 Electric Re-do
Hi all, we have never posted on the EZ-GO section before but that is because we had Yami's and a Club Car. Now we have traded our yami G-1's for a an Electric EZGO. This EZGO has an 8-inch lift, 22 inch tires, 8.3 HP motor and a 400 amp controller. The reason we traded was our campground is going all electric. Well, about a year ago we posted a thread on how we made a yami's our own and now we will do the same with the EZGO. Besides this is how hubby keeps track of his progress :)....here are the pics of the Yami's (1st 2 pictures are the yami's) and the EZGO we traded them for ....

Re: EZ-G0 Electric Re-do
There are new pics of the John Deere cart now...the person we traded with is also on here. Todd Dolfi has put a 9+ inch lift on it...the pics are under the 'Older Yamaha's' post...it's pretty cool, you should check that out now too...

Re: EZ-G0 Electric Re-do
OK, all our carts have had some kind of theme or whatever you want to call it...but we can't have a plain white golf cart it seems lol...anyway, I haven't been very good on taking the pictures this time around as I had in the past customizing...but here is what hubby has done so far to our newest cart.
So far, he has re-welded some areas of the lift. Fabricated a push bar. One of the rear brackets for the roof was broke so instead of fixing that, I guess it gave him an excuse to fabricate a roll bar for it (sheesh...men!). He added a bunch of diamond plate. New seat covers. Painted the rear seat frame black (ok, I am the one that didn't like the aluminum look for that, so that one is my fault lol). Hmmm, he moved the lights switch, added a new steering wheel. Added 2" wheel spacers (whatever they are called but they make the wheels stick out more). He has also given it a new paint job but that is not finished yet. So as far as I know, he wants to finish the body and something to do with the roof. The new colors are white/red/black. He's a supervisor/welder at Lincoln Electric and that is their colors so I am assuming that is the new theme..lol. But here are the pics..enjoy! When it is totally finished, I will get more of the complete cart :). |

Re: EZ-G0 Electric Re-do
With out even know what you are talking about. I asume they made ppl switch to elec is noise, especially in a campground, in those motorhomes the walls are made out off alloy and not very thick you can hear everything threw them, probablly ppl that dont have "toys" complained.

Re: EZ-G0 Electric Re-do
Yes, it was the noise. We do not have to totally switch until 2013 but starting this coming season, no gas carts after midnight.
He pulled it out of the garage so I tried to get some more pics but still not enough room...too many dang projects I swear! |
