EZ-GO Electic Motor help
I am restoring a 79 EZGO 36V cart. The main Ground Stud on the motor is loose. I can move it about 1/4 turn cw or ccw (i don't dare move it any more than that). Because the stud is loose it intermitently looses the ground and the motor stops. It appears this stud is pressed into the housing and insulated. Is this able to be fixed? Is there a diagram of the inside of the motor anywhere? Thanks in advance

Re: EZ-GO Electic Motor help
It would be a good idea to go in the motor and check it out. Those are simple motors. Take it apart, and check the insulators, and put new ones on if they are questionable. Then make sure the nut is snug that keeps that terminal tight to the case.
