Default would i be wasteing my time

what is the performance difference fbetween a 350amp controller and a 400amp
i have a stock 2000 ezgo which i believe has a 225 amp and ive been looking to upgrade to a 400amp alltrax! havnt been able to save the cash yet but i just came across a 2009 350amp controller for $50! was wondering if that may do the trip for now until i had enough cash to do the upgrade i wanted

I think your stock controller would be 275amp so installing a 350 ou won't see much difference in installing a 350. But in torque you should in installing a 400amp. Then converting over to 48volt sstem you would see more top end speed.

You can run your 36 volt motor on 48 volts. You would need to change you solenoid to a 48 volt. You can swap out the six 6volt batteries for six 8volt batteries or add two more 6volt volt batteries.
Advantage of eight six volt batteries is a longer run time per charge.

If you go to a 400amp controller you will have to upgrade your FNR switch to handle the additional amperage.
