How long and how far???
With a full charge, how long should you be able to run the cart??? Or, How far should you be able to go?? I did 2.5 miles last night just playing around in the neighborhood and it seemed to have a lot of "go" left.

Re: How long and how far???
All depends on the batteries, the load and the terrain. Street driving should be 15 to 20 miles if everything is good.

Re: How long and how far???
Just for reference:
Standard 36 volt TXT model cart should be capable of doing 3 rounds of golf with new T-1-5 batteries installed (approximately 18-20 miles) "Freedom" 36 Volt TXT Model cart will do between 16-19 miles RXV model should be capable of ~ 30 miles regardless of configuration Any deviation from standard configuration will of course change the outcome based on the modifications done. |

Re: How long and how far???
actually I left it out on purpose. The marathon mileage would depend on whether it was a resistor car or a Solid State car. Since i rarely see a solid state car that still has all it's original components, I figured I wouldn't confuse the issue further.
Personally my Solid State car is getting around 16-18 miles on a charge right now, but with a GE 700 Amp Controller pushing a GE D297 4HP motor I really can't expect much more out of the old girl...... My next personal project car is going to be an AC system. I think I can tweak it enough to get 40+ miles while still doing close to 30MPH. I have a couple of EXCAR's at the shop that i wanna tweak around a bit. They do close to 30 right out of the crate, but I haven't checked the distance on them yet. |
