Going to paint a white 03 Ezgo black.
Should I mask or take body off.
Thanks,

I taped mine and painted it while still attached. It turned out good however had all of the bolts and clips not been totally rusted I would have have removed the body and painted.

I suspect that that if everything was not rusted and siezed it would be just as quick to remove the body as it was to tape everything off before painting.

Take it off. You'll be glad you did in the long run. It just make for a better job. Rivet kits are pretty cheap also...and of coarse you'll need a good rivet gun. Mikemotortoys I know has those rivet kits, not sure if any of the other sponsors have them in stock or can get them.

I painted mine with it on. I would probably take it off to do again.

Take it off for sure. No sense missing parts that could be exposed later on if something were to shift on the cart. Plus you will save time over masking everything off.

Roger..Not being a painter myself, take my suggestion with a BIG grain of salt.

If you are going to camo it, why waste the time removing it? You don't need to mask for that anyway.

If you are going for more shine and show type of paint job...(just like being in the strip clubs)...take it off. The masking is more pain in the ceaster then it is worth and then you may have the glue residue to deal with after the paint job. In the long run, it makes for a easier paint job. And the easier it is to do the better it will turn out, and that make a happier owner.

My 2 cents worth of thought.
