How many clicks should I hear? 5? the other 36 volt cart has 1 click and 2nd click it goes and 3rd click nothing changes and 4th click gets faster and there is no 5th click?

5 micro switches= 5 faint clicks.....5 soleniods= 5 louder clicks at least it should.................................

Your earlier post concerning the "silver box" with the micro-switches wasn't answered. Yes, the micro-switches can be replaced and each one can be replaced. There is one long screw that hols them together inside the box. They can be removed and tested individually. Personally, I'd replace them all if one shows to be defective. I'd also replace the nylon slide while I had it apart. All are relatively inexpensive. Should be able to get the micro-switches and slide for less than one solenoid. Be careful removing the screw that holds them in place as it is a #4- that is 3" long and almost impossible to find. If the micro-switches are original to the cart, the screw may be rusty and the switches and slide are overdue for replacement.

yeah your right it wasn,t answered like that because he has worked on them enough that at least i thought he would know that yes if there are 5 micros in there you could replace one or as many as were needed.....and if the slider looked damaged you can replace that also......................

Again Thanks to all who helped me through this electricity nitemare!!

These five solenoids were good but solenoids were bad, so I just replaced them all and it runs good now.
