Finally figured out why my charger wouldn't shut off. It's my voltage reducer. I have it switched so it's not on unless I need the accesories. I had it on and didn't think it had any effect on the charging. Wrong! As soon as I Turned off he reducer, the charger shutr off after charging fully.

That is a good test (here goes) it does not mean 100% that the OBC is bad!!
This test is testing 1.OBC 2.Grey Wire in cart (including fuse) 3.Relay in charger (coil only) 4.Red wire in cart 5.Red and grey wires in charge cord and in charger if any one of these items are bad then it will go with charger plugged in prior to replacing the OBC jump the grey wire to ground if the charger relay kicks in then this part of the OBC is bad. This is testing only one function of the OBC The OBC may still charge and turn the charger on and off but the safety portion of the cart not moving when charging is defective. |
