I got a donor cart that matches up with mine it is a 99 and the one i burnt up is a 96. would it be better to just switch the good parts (controller, solenoid) off the 99 onto the 96 or go ahead and just switch the motor to the 99 and put new batteries in it? the 99 looks like it has a firewall between the batteries and controller. is that a good year/setup on a series cart?

on the controller what is the number i need to make sure match? i found the 1204-410 on both the controllers. thanks for all the information and help you guys give

that sounds like they are the same as long as the hook ups are the same but i think that 1204 is what your looking for.................................

i think i got extreamly lucky with my mistake. i changed the controller with one off a donor cart last night printed off the wiring diagram to make sure i wired it correctly(this time) and my cart is back in business. i dont think my batteries are going to hold a charge very long but oh well it runs.
